Questions about KC1-D
How do KC1-B, KC5 and KC1-D differ?
KC1-B and KC5 have the same functions, accessory options and operating system; their exterior designs differ. KC1-D uses standalone LCD controls without the smart operating system.
What is the difference between jug capacity and maximum fill on KC1-D?
The jug has a physical capacity of 3.5 L. The recommended maximum cooking and liquid fill is 3 L. Follow the limits for the selected programme and recipe; physical capacity is not the working fill limit.
What accessories do I need for slicing and shredding, and are they standard?
KC1-B, KC1-D, KC5 and KC9 support an optional slicing and shredding set: leafless knife, support pillar, feed tube lid, food pusher and a slicing or shredding disc. This set is not included as standard and is not offered for KC7 or KC8.
Can the base unit be immersed in water or put in a dishwasher?
Do not put the base unit in a dishwasher or immerse it in water. Removable parts can be cleaned separately; check the manual for each part before using a dishwasher and follow its temperature and detergent instructions.
