KC5 shares the functions, accessory options and operating system of KC1-B, including 15 cooking modes and a 7-inch Android display. Choose KC5 when its exterior suits the range. KC1-D uses standalone LCD controls without that smart operating system.

### Pick 100–120 V or 220–240 V

KC5 is supplied as a separate 100–120 V or 220–240 V AC version at 50/60 Hz. Each unit supports one voltage range. A different plug does not make the same unit cover both ranges.

**How do KC1-B, KC5 and KC1-D differ?**

KC1-B and KC5 have the same functions, accessory options and operating system; their exterior designs differ. KC1-D uses standalone LCD controls without the smart operating system.

**What is the difference between jug capacity and maximum fill on KC5?**

The jug has a physical capacity of 3.5 L. The recommended maximum cooking and liquid fill is 3 L. Follow the limits for the selected programme and recipe; physical capacity is not the working fill limit.

**Are KC1-B and KC5 dual-voltage appliances?**

KC1-B and KC5 are specified in separate 100–120 V or 220–240 V AC configurations at 50/60 Hz. Each unit is supplied for one voltage range, not both. Confirm the selected configuration for your destination market in the quotation and on the unit rating label.

**What accessories do I need for slicing and shredding, and are they standard?**

KC1-B, KC1-D, KC5 and KC9 support an optional slicing and shredding set: leafless knife, support pillar, feed tube lid, food pusher and a slicing or shredding disc. This set is not included as standard and is not offered for KC7 or KC8.

**Can the base unit be immersed in water or put in a dishwasher?**

Do not put the base unit in a dishwasher or immerse it in water. Removable parts can be cleaned separately; check the manual for each part before using a dishwasher and follow its temperature and detergent instructions.
