# Cooking Robot Approval Samples: Give Receiving Teams the Same Acceptance Standard

An approved sample provides a physical reference. Pair it with a defined comparison method so receiving teams can apply the same standard to the shipment.

Approving a cooking robot sample gives the buyer and supplier a shared physical reference. Receiving inspection puts that agreement into practice: different people should be able to assess the delivered goods against the same criteria.

## A reference and a method do different jobs

An approved sample can illustrate appearance, color and assembly fit. Written specifications define details that need precise limits or operating conditions. Together, they describe the product agreed for the order.

Receiving inspection applies those criteria to the delivered batch. The sample defines the reference; inspection checks the specified features of the delivery.

## Make “matches the sample” repeatable

**Hypothetical scenario — this illustrates an acceptance method, not an actual customer case or a finding about any product.**

Suppose both parties approve the appearance of a housing seam. An instruction saying only “match the sample” leaves room for different comparisons: one person may judge the overall appearance while another measures a gap at one particular point. Those observations need not describe the same feature.

If measurement matters, specify the location, method and agreed acceptable range, using the approved product requirements. Keep the sample as the visual reference. Applying the same method to delivered units makes the comparison repeatable without inventing a new tolerance at receiving.

For a sampling inspection, the approved sample remains the reference and the identified shipment supplies the units being inspected. Make the whole batch accessible for random selection under the agreed plan. Interpret the result under that plan; it is not a unit-by-unit check or a substitute for required safety testing.

Choose one appearance or assembly feature that matters to the order and add its approved-sample version, comparison location and assessment method to the receiving sheet. Where measurement is needed, reference the agreed specification limits.
