# Private-Label Cooking Robot Quotes: Is the Cheaper Machine the Cheaper Kit?

An omitted accessory or retail box can reverse a cooking robot price comparison. Compare the cost of the same sellable kit.

A supplier can quote a lower price for a cooking robot without offering a cheaper version of the product you intend to sell. The difference may be sitting outside the quoted unit: an accessory, a printed retail box, or the work needed to put them together.

The useful unit of comparison is the kit your customer will receive. If one offer prices that kit and another prices only the machine, the apparent saving includes a difference in scope.

## The missing part is still a cost

Suppose your proposed retail offer includes the machine, its standard bowl and lid, a steamer, and a printed box. The steamer is part of your chosen offer; it is not a claim that every cooking robot needs one. A machine-only price leaves you with something different to sell.

Adding the missing item may also require packing work. Buying the accessory separately does not establish that it arrives inside the retail carton. The comparison needs the price of the completed kit, with the same quantity and delivery point, so an assembly or packaging exclusion cannot disappear between columns.

## A lower headline price can reverse

**Hypothetical example — figures illustrate the calculation only; they are not our quotation or market prices.**

Assume hypothetical option A costs $172 for the machine with its standard bowl and lid, plus $14 for the steamer and $6 for the printed box and final packing. Hypothetical option B costs $190 for that complete kit. All other specifications and delivery terms are assumed identical; neither price includes freight or tax.

A therefore costs $192 per complete kit. B costs $190. The apparent $18 saving on A becomes a $2 premium once the missing scope is restored. No discount negotiation is needed to explain the reversal: the original figures were pricing different things.

If A has not priced the steamer or packing, the total is unknown. Entering zero would manufacture a saving rather than measure one.

On your comparison sheet, replace the machine-price row with one row for the exact retail kit and add only the separately quoted items needed to complete it.
